A bourse is the public area at a coin show of any size where the buying and selling of coins, paper money, exonumia (medals and tokens), books, and other items takes place.

According to Merriam-Webster, "bourse" is also the name for a European stock exchange and literally means “purse" in middle French.

In a typical coin show bourse, dealer tables are formed into several large rectangles, splitting the floor and creating aisles for collectors and other attendees to walk and view the dealers’ inventories.
