Survey responses will help to shape content of Coin World

Coin World values your opinions. They are a very important component in helping to guide us as we strive to continue to make Coin World the most informative, the most useful and the most enjoyable source about numismatic collectibles.

Beginning at 10 a.m. EST Monday, Dec. 12, and continuing through midnight EST Jan. 8, we will have posted at the Coin World website a 25-question survey.

Completing our survey will only take a few moments of your time. But it will be time well spent because your responses will play a vital role in shaping the future content of the hobby’s most widely read and most influential publication.

This survey is an opportunity for you to share with us what you most like to read about. It will help us identify the kinds of information you are seeking.

Also, you will be asked to tell us the best way to deliver Coin World to you. As you are probably aware, technology affords multiple methods and platforms to deliver information. We are committed to providing timely, accurate and need-to-know information so that you not only enjoy collecting, but also will be able to know the current value of items in your collection. In order to serve you better, we need to understand how you use the information we provide and how and when you would like to receive it.

In addition to the questions, there’s space for you to comment on virtually anything related to Coin World that you would like to share. (I’ll guarantee your comments will be read by the decision makers at Coin World.)

An exciting aspect of responding to our survey is that you are automatically entered in our sweepstakes. Winners will be drawn randomly after the survey closes on Jan. 8. The top prize is an iPad 2. Twenty additional winners will receive a copy of the newly published Coin World Almanac Eighth Edition, the one-volume, nearly 700-page reference that places vital facts about the field of coins, paper money and related objects at your fingertips. Due to laws governing sweepstakes, entrants must be 18 years of age or older. (In future surveys we will seek to learn more about the under-18 age group.)

As a Coin World reader, you are an important member of our hobby community and you are a real partner in helping us to continue to improve Coin World for your reading and collecting enjoyment.

If you are reading this in our digital edition or in our postings on the website, just click on and it will take you directly to the survey.

Thank you for sharing your opinions. And good luck in the sweepstakes! ¦
