Steve Roach - Editor
Steve became the editor of Coin World in 2012. He joined Coin World as a monthly columnist in 2006 and became its associate editor in 2009 where he wrote the weekly coin market analysis and covered legal and legislative issues, including comprehensive daily trial coverage of the 1933 Saint-Gaudens gold $20 double eagle trial. Steve has been deeply involved with numismatics for more than 20 years. Two years spent as a grader at ANACS, nearly three years at Heritage Auctions, and a stint as a paintings specialist at Christie's have given Steve a rich understanding of the hobby, its market and the unique personalities and exceptional objects that make collecting meaningful. He received his bachelor of arts degree from the University of Michigan and a juris doctorate from the Ohio State University.
